Details:
The symposium- 'Synergy' is organised by :Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers(IETE) in collaboration with VIT's School of Electronics Engineering(SENSE).

As defined by the Oxford dictionary, the word ‘Synergy’ literally means: The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects. With this symposium, we present a platform where ideas can be shared and knowledge can be spread to as many people as possible. Thus, to achieve the aforementioned objectives, Synergy is themed on- ‘ERUDITION AND INNOVATION’.


The symposium consists of two exclusive workshops, a guest lecture and a paper presentation competition.

Synergy 2014 Technical, Workshop Events in Vellore :
1. A workshop on 'HAM Radio and its activities' by Indian Institute of Hams.
2. A workshop on 'Firewall and Network Security' by InfySEC.
3. A guest lecture by 'Mr Sreenath Gotur', on the topic- 'Security by design and opportunities in testing development and business analysis’.
4. A paper presentation competition.

Synergy 2014 Fest Guests: Mr Sreenath Gotur will be delivering a guest lecture on the topic-‘Security by design and opportunities in testing development and business analysis’.Mr Sreenath Gotur is currently working as the Vice President of a subsidiary of the Bank of America.HONORS AND AWARDS:1.Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Bank of America in December 2009.2.Microsoft Certified Application Developer (.Net) by Microsoft Corporation in June 20043.Spot excellence Award from Polaris Software Labs Ltd.
