About Abhyuday, IIT Bombay's A-Plan Competition

Action Plan Competition, as the name suggests, fosters young minds of the nation to act towards solving society’s problems. It encourages youth to identify grass root level problems and design sustainable solution model for them.

A-Plan challenges students to identify and build a 'Plan of Action’ for solving a social problem by engaging with the community and stakeholders. It encourages them to develop a bottom up approach from grassroot level to building a sustainable implementable solution. In order for the solutions to sustain and create- a lasting positive impact, the solutions to tackle these challenges could be on the lines of Activism/Not-for-Profit/Social Entrepreneurship led models.
