IRIS is the annual management and cultural fest of IIM Indore. It boasts of a splendid legacy that dates back to the turn of the millennium. Amidst the typical B-school environment, it brings forth a fresh amalgamation of management and culture in an exhilarating 3 day extravaganza. This year, IRIS gets underway on 23rd October and the exciting series of events continues till the 25th of October, 2015.
Set in the lush, sprawling campus of IIM Indore, IRIS attracts the best talent from over 30 esteemed B-schools in India. Eminent leaders like Mr. Himanshu Kapania, MD Idea Cellular, Mr. Raja Ukil, CIO Wipro, Mr. Rajan Mittal, MD Bharti Telecom and Mr. M K Sharma, Vice Chairman Hindustan Lever Limitedhave graced the fest in the past and lent to its grandeur. The energy levels are always at an astronomical high with IRIS having witnessed power packed performances from the likes of Euphoria, Indian Ocean and Agnee in the past. Cultural events like Voice of Indore and Lasya provide an opportunity for participants to express themselves and enthrall audiences with their artistic talent in the fields of music and dance.
To add to the fun of the cultural events, IRIS brings a plethora of tough management events that test the participants’ wit, grit and analytical thinking. Ashwamedha, the multi-disciplinary flagship leadership event of IRIS provides a platform for participants to battle it out as they stake their claim to be the next great leaders. Chain Reaction, the flagship supply chain event of IRIS, puts the participants’ expertise in operations to the test. Chanakya, the flagship consulting event, witnesses the budding consultants of tomorrow display their prowess. Gordian Knot challenges participants with a series of tough sales and marketing tasks and tests their ability to think innovatively. Klueless with its long legacy has time and again proven to be an extremely challenging and exciting online treasure hunt, testing the participants’ mental endurance and puzzle solving skills. There are many more exciting management events which attract some of the best talent as they challenge themselves to rise to glory.
