About Radiance 2k16

Radiance aims to bring the best minds of the country together on a common platform so that innovative ideas could come forth and newer opportunities could be created. Students have come up with extremely subtle solutions to Industry Defined Problems at Radiance. Vaigyaniki , the Research Paper presentation event has met with an overwhelming response. The Lectures and workshops conducted over the previous editions have also been well appreciated.We endeavour to carry forward the Radiance legacy in the coming years

1. COMPETITIONS:

• Industrial defined Probem (IDP) : PRIZES WORTH INR 30,000
• Vaigyaniki : A National level Research Paper Presentation Competition PRIZES WORTH INR 20,000
• ROBOSUMO : PRIZES WORTH INR 15,000

2. WORKSHOPS

An interesting opportunity to learn new things and build working prototype of models. The workshop provides a complete learning experience to the participants. These workshops encompass all the concepts and principals involved. Following are the workshops, which are going to be held in Radiance'16.

• 3D Printing : Explore the latest 3D Printing technology and the functionality of a 3D printer.

3. EXHIBITIONS

Exhibition of more than 35 student projects completed in summers,Research Symposium, and display by all the Technical teams in the institute like self-manufactured Racing Car by IIT Bombay Racing Team, Team Shunya’s Energy Efficient housing models, Autonomous Under-Water Vehicle Team’s Matsya 2.0 and many more research projects too.

For all enthusiasts in academia, Radiance has always offered a vast array of lectures by professionals, eminent scientists and corporate top bosses. Their passionate oratory and description about their respective fields has always been a very motivating experience for those aiming to emulate their success.
