opines Ishan Savio who won Changemaker 2016 contest organised by Ashoka Foundation this year. Ishan?s idea to bring up an Enterprise to train prisoner to minimize their communication and awareness gap of released prisoners won him the award.

"This idea stuck my mind when I was pondering about the condition of prisoners in our country and the fact that a person should not live a life of punishment after being released from a place of punishment for the same crime.

A prisoner who is released after his term is not able to contribute anything to the society because of the lack of knowledge and awareness about the changes around him after being cut off from the society for long time.

And this reason will lead them frustration and hence make him a criminal again. I believe that my idea would encourage researchers and studies and would help bring this idea to reality and hope to the lives of many prisoners" says Ishan with a confident smile.

His motto to not to settle for anything has also made him explore and develop his other talents such as singing and photography. Ishan has also released his own music album named "Freedom of Emotion".
